1. What is 3 v 3 soccer?
3 v 3 soccer is a small-sided form of soccer. There are no goalkeepers, and the goals are small. Here you can find detailed rules on 3 v 3 soccer.
2. What date is the Mayor's Cup?
Saturday and Sunday, July 13-14, 2013. Although the tournament is a 2-day event, teams will play all there games on only one of the days. Adult, U19, and U16 teams will play on Saturday. U14 and below will play on Sunday.
3. How do I sign up for the Mayor's Cup 3 v 3 Tournament?
Click here to sign your team up online. We will also be having in-person registrations at the Hessville Youth Soccer Complex on June 9, 2013 from 5-7PM.
4. How much does it cost to register a team?
Early registration fee is $75 per team. Registration fee is $100 per team after the early registration deadline. All participants who sign up before the registration deadline will receive a free tournament t-shirt .
5. How can we pay the registration fee?
Registration fee may be paid online (credit or debit card accepted). To pay by cash or check please stop by during our in-person sign ups on TBA or contact our Tournament Director.
6. When is the registration deadline?
The early registration deadline is June 16, 2013 @ 11:59PM. The regular registration deadline is June 30, 2013 @ 11:59PM. Final registration deadline is July 7, 2013. NO TEAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.
7. Can I change my roster after I sign my team up online?
Yes, the morning of the tournament, all teams will fill out a final roster form. This will be your final roster. To help expediate the sign-in process, please print out the "final roster" form and fill it out before arriving to the tournament.
8. How many players can we have on a team?
You may have a maximum of 6 players per team.
9. How many games does each team play?
Each team is guaranteed at least 3 games.
10. What age divisions does the Mayor's Cup include?
The age groups range from U-8 boys and girls all the way through men's and women's open. PLEASE NOTE: EACH YOUTH DIVISION WILL BE RESERVED TO THE FIRST 8 TEAMS THAT REGISTER. Age groups and divisions are subject to change depending on registration numbers.

12. Where is the tournament held?
This year's tournament will be held at the Hessville Youth Soccer Complex in Hammond, IN.
13. What does my I/son/daughter team need to bring the morning of the tournament?
All participants must fill out a waiver completely in order to play in the tournament. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent sign the waiver. Waivers may be downloaded from the the "Forms" page. Waivers will also be available the morning of the tournament. All participants must also have a valid ID showing their birth date. Teams must show up at least 30 minutes before their first game.
14. What are acceptable forms of Proof of Age?
Any one of the following are acceptable - Player pass, State ID, passport, copy of birth certificate or drivers license.
15. When will schedules be available?
We will publish at least the first game for each team by 10PM on Wednesday evening before the tournament. Schedules will be available on the website.
16. How late can we enter teams?
The deadline (for guaranteed acceptance) is shown on the web site. After that date, teams can still apply, however the possibility of being turned away increases because age groups fill up. Teams who sign up after the deadline will NOT receive tournament t-shirts.
17. What is the weather policy?
There will be no refunds granted for any reason after the registration deadline. This includes, but is not limited to inclement weather, etc. In case of inclement weather, the Tournament Director reserves the right to reduce the number of scheduled games and/or the time of games and/or postpone or delay game times and/or cancel the event. Every effort will be made to complete games and the tournament. Entry fees are non-refundable after registration deadlines.
18. What do the winners receive?
As in the past, we offer 1st and 2nd place trophies for all youth divisions. Adult divisions receive a team cup and a cash prize. For all age-divisions, winners receive "champions" t-shirts.
